“Circling Back” emulates the Jessup wagon in the form of a mobile educational panel installation covering topics on inequalities in the food distribution system, legacy of Black farmers, land loss, preventing and reversing chronic diseases.
Farms to Grow, Inc. recognizes the contributions of
George Washington Carver and his community outreach model of the Jessup wagon. The Jessup wagon provided a way to educate farmers on modern agricultural tools, new methods of farming, the best crops to grow in various soils and best crops to eat for nutrition.
